LIVING WITH DOGS AT AURA

Aura North Sydney is a proudly dog-friendly building. To ensure all residents, both two-legged and four, continue to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment, we ask that the following guidelines are observed.

Respect for All Dogs

With many dogs in the building, it’s important to remember that each has a different temperament. Some are new and still adjusting, while others may be naturally nervous, protective or more reserved.

Please be mindful of other dogs and owners at all times, not just your own.

Dog Leads

Dogs must be on a lead and under control in all common areas, including:

• Corridors

• Lifts

• Car park

• Ground floor

• Forecourt areas

Bathroom Breaks

Where possible, please encourage your dog to use nearby parks, trees and green spaces rather than within the building.

• All waste must be picked up and disposed of appropriately

• Garden beds and shared areas must be kept clean

• If an accident occurs, please notify concierge or building management so it can be attended to promptly

BARKING

Dogs naturally bark to communicate, however prolonged or excessive barking can impact other residents.

Please ensure your routines and time away from home do not result in ongoing barking due to loneliness, anxiety or distress.

DOG WALKERS

Several residents use professional dog walkers.

If you would like assistance arranging a dog walker or someone to spend time with your dog during the day, please speak with the concierge team.

LOCAL DOG PARKS

The closest dog-friendly park is St Leonards Park, located just minutes from Aura via Walker Street and Ridge Street.

North Sydney is a highly dog-friendly area. Most parks allow off-leash access, with the following exceptions:

• Bushland areas

• Playing fields during organised sport

• St Leonards Oval (No. 1 and 2)

• Cremorne Reserve

• Clark Park

• Ancrum Street Park

• Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability

DOG BEACH

Sirius Cove Beach, located in Mosman, is one of Sydney’s best off-leash dog beaches.

Approximately 6km from Aura, it offers a sheltered and enclosed harbour beach ideal for dogs.
